inTo be sustain success it’s important to manage your time well.
working from dawn to dusk doesn’t get you anywhere but a confused mind, sore eyes and a irritable attitude.
One of my new year goals is to have a structure and routine that I can stick to regardless what work constraints come up. Knowing that the world will not stop if an email goes an answered is crucial to a sane mind and life/work balance.
As the weekend is here I came across this and thought I’d share. One thing I learnt at Sunday service this week was we have to start creating habits as ‘habits are key to reaching your goal’. Here’s a list of 14 things successful people do (or like me should be doing) on the weekends. Not just X-Factor or whatever ITV is showing….

inHer mistake my gain…. Hehehe
She must have written her note and placed the paper on her dresser or something.
I’m sure because of her contracted endorsements she quickly realised and took it down and reposted.
Well at least it’s not only me that loves the products.

inNo one knows where your coming from or where your going and what 2013 holds.
Individually we will likely experience different degrees of highs & lows, so for the approaching new year we should try & be kind and thoughtful to each other, showing love & kindness to make it easier.
I’ve had a good year despite the passing of loved ones and a few low moments. One of the main reasons I can see such good is because this year I’ve learned to look for blessings in the midst of trials. I’ve realised that things pass and with faith they turn to minuscule problems that are even laughed at.
A simple proof is right here: me writing this on the last day of the year! Many people haven’t made it this far. That in its self is one of the most important blessings we can all have. Because I truly believe “Once there is life, there is hope”
I wish you all an amazing year ahead filled with hope, faith, love & joy.
Happy New Year

Every time I see a Nokia advert I always remember a time when they dominated the market. Most people around me had one and there was always a moment of conversation when a new model was released about the latest features, the colour screen, new snakes game and so on.
Fast forward to today, and you find a large demographic mix of old and young with a Samsung, Blackberry or IPhone. Nokia on the other hand is no where to be seen! I’m sure a few people use one as a primary phone but I usually see it used as an additional mobile for Lebara or another one of those international low cost networks.
Let me get to the point. Basically if you have a brand, product or anything in the market it is wise to not only keep a close eye on whats happening but never think your position is safe.
Never get comfortable. Always work hard to improve yourself, product & game!
Take for example Apple. Apple has a large population of the market but who knows what’s next… samsung is already showing strength as a good contender.
I’m sure Serena & Venus share this mantra. Because in every game they play their best never getting comfortable or carried away by all their numerous wins.
Just a random rant that I thought I’d share.

inIt’s always a time of reflection as the year comes to an end. I think about how my year went, what was right, what was wrong and who affected me for good or bad.
Assessing the year is vital to set clear goals for success, as it allows you to look back and know what or whom you want to carry forward into the next year.
Set your goals, plan your route and score…
As you plan your route you’ll begin to see a clear vision of what you want and what you don’t want. Knowing this will definitely lead to a happier more fulfilled life.
“Goals are not only necessary to motivate us; they are essential to really keep us alive” – Robert H Schuller
Over the weekend Andrew Weissman sent an to the Market UK team which I absolutely loved. It wasn’t anything in depth about work just something he ran across and wanted to share to encourage and motivate. This email is actually what inspired this post as I thought it would be great to also share with my own network.
This is what was shared. Enjoy
